A Message from Our Founder

"When I started Front Door, I wanted to give agents a better place to call home. It was always my goal to improve the real estate business model, by sharing opportunities and ideas on how to be better. I wanted to give them the opportunity to determine how they wanted to be successful in this business.

Front Door Realty is agent owned, and we decided to reinvent the way brokerages operate by giving equity to the agents and putting the true value of the organization within those that decide to build it. Since we started, our focus has always been to create a dynamic real estate business model, which would allow agents to grow their businesses exponentially while providing them with the tools, training, technology and forward thinking leadership to provide second to none services to their clients.

That’s how Front Door Realty was born, as a joint professional effort to support our community by doing what we know how to do best, and fulfill a latent demand in the market, providing a top quality real estate service for people like yourself, at a reasonable cost, and putting in years of experience on the table, paired with the assistance of a talented team of seasoned agents. Joshua Ballinger

Joshua Ballinger

As a resourceful professional and visionary leader, Josh utilizes his exceptional expertise in various aspects of sales and marketing to effectively help those looking to either buy or sell a home. Over the last 20 years, Josh has successfully utilized his outstanding skill sets, initiative, problem solving abilities and positive attitude to lead and achieve remarkable results. During these years, Josh served within multiple industries; gaining solid backgrounds in diverse competitive markets (including product, site, local community, sales, advertising and demographics).

He was also effective in building productive business relationships, through excellent customer service, that ensured multiple referrals, client retention, increased business and improved revenues. Josh obtained a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of St. Francis where he played collegiate football, a Master of Science in Education from Florida Gulf Coast University; and a State of Florida Real Estate License. Josh is a hard worker, highly ambitious and self-motivated. He prefers to take the extra step in staying unique and reaching his aspirations. Outside the office, he enjoys volunteering and spending quality time with his five children.

Having experience in good and bad markets, and thriving in both, provide me with a solid base of needed real estate transaction expertise. I pride myself in recruiting team members who are honest, ethical, and productive team players.

Our new Ft. Myers location has tremendous opportunity to capitalize on the company's history of community involvement and solid reputation.
